News: Nintendo muss $10 Millionen fuer Wii Motion Sensing Accelerator Patentverletzung zahlen

Comapny iLife sued Nintendo four years ago alleging that the Wiimote infringed on its motion sensing accelerator patents. And a jury in Dallas has agreed with them.

The judge in the case has now ruled that Nintendo must pay iLife $10 million in damages. Which is far less than iLife initially wanted: they sued for $144 million.
iLife uses its motion sensing tech for devices that monitor infants to help prevent sudden infant death syndrome.
