Nintendo losing Damon Baker was a pretty big deal for fans. Baker had appeared in a few Nintendo Direct events, and really made a name for himself as the go-to guy for indie content. There's no doubt his hard work at Nintendo helped bring indie support to the level it's at right now, and the impact of his departure will be felt for years to come.

Now we finally know what Baker left Nintendo to do. Turns out he jumped over to Microsoft, where he'll be the Head of Portfolio for Xbox. This means Baker will be the one to evaluate all 2nd/3rd party content coming to the Xbox platform.
