News: Core Pokemon RPG erscheint 2019 - im Stil von X / Y und Sonne / Mond
Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu and Pokemon: Let's Go, Eevee are the primary Pokemon titles on Switch this year. But as was announced tonight, a core RPG is also slated for the second half of 2019.
During tonight's Pokemon press conference, it was mentioned that the 2019 title will be "in the style of X and Y and Sun and Moon". That's somewhat in contrast to the Let's Go! games, which appear to be aimed at a broad audience and are "a core RPG for everyone".
Pokemon CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara also confirmed that the upcoming 2019 game will be entirely new - not an upgrade. Next year's releases will be more about handheld elements.
